Practice...

I think there was a possibility for a practice session tonight, but unfortunately I am working 6-8 now...

I am free on Sunday, and thing SHOULD work out next Thursday.

Practice 3

Though technically practice was canceled last week due to Lisa and I feeling under the weather, Marielle wouldn't take No for an answer...haha. Her and I ended up having a good practice. We worked a bit on the chords for each of the songs, and tried out our vocals to Listen to your Heart.

We also worked a bit on some guitar for her pitch... I'll be practicing that a bit as well.

dirty dancing

Well this is mos def a keyboard song, and its very high energy, so angelique, you got lead vocals on this, plus the dancing is also a very important thing to add as well. It will be sweet. You gotta do that really tense Bruce scream that's all sweaty and intense. The pics rock!

Practice Two

I felt it went well. The bottom line is I have my guitar in my hand for at the very least 2 hours a week, and that's good enough for me. But we actually have learned some new chords, Hit Me with Your Best Shot is tricky but once we get the chord order down, and speed things up, should be alright.

Drive, though the chords are easy, sounds a bit weird with the guitar.

Every Rose... is going the best for me, now that I've mastered the Cadd9. I do think it is a different tuning but that's just details. Now if I could just keep up with that choppy, no rhythm singing.

Dancing in the Dark has too many chords that I don't know. I must work quite a bit on this.

Not sure when my Practice 3 will be since I'm out of town, but you guys can still get together and rock out.

So I might not make it. I'm really going to try. I have this meeting for Women In Film (Marielle, you should join!) that I need to go to so I can talk to someone about a board position. So it's looking like that will be til 7:30-7:45. I will try!
